Ideal Forms: Photographs by Frederick H. Evans explores Evans´s work in seven categories: Landscape, Craftsmanship and Details, Photomicrographs, Art Reproductions, Rheims Cathedral, Framing Medieval Architecture and Portraits. Evans´s aesthetic vision reveals itself in the seductive tonal ranges and rich detail of the 52 gelatin silver and platinum photographs that make up these seven sections. Due to the nature of these materials, this exhibition is limited to just three venues. Because the original is too delicate to travel, a digital slideshow of Evans´s 1914 album of photomicrographs is included with the exhibition.
