Estate Planning : The 900 East Avenue Society
The 900 East Avenue Society recognizes members and friends who have included George Eastman House in their planning by making a provision for a bequest or other deferred gift. Through their foresight and generosity, members of 900 East Avenue Society play a vital role in ensuring the Museum's future growth, stability, and success.
If you have remembered George Eastman House in your estate plans, you are qualified for membership in 900 East Avenue Society.
900 East Avenue Society member benefits include a gift of a matted and framed reproduction of a photograph from the collections. Each image is accompanied by an interpretive package explaining the history of the photograph, the artist, and how it was acquired.
By making decisions now, you can use George Eastman House to fulfill your long-term philanthropic goals while possibly providing current tax savings. A planned gift may also afford you the opportunity to make a more significant gift than might otherwise be possible.
Making a deferred gift to George Eastman House provides a way to affirm your life values through your estate plans, while supporting the Museum's long-range fiscal health.
Your desire to support the ongoing needs of collections, education programs, restoration, archival facilities, and interpretive programs, or to preserve, protect, or advance a favorite collection will make a difference to future visitors.
Members of the 900 East Avenue Society may currently use any of the following gift vehicles:
- The Pooled Life Income Fund of George Eastman House
- Charitable Remainder Trusts
- Charitable Lead Trusts
- Gifts of Life Insurance
It is always important to receive expert advice before making major financial decisions, and we do suggest your consult with your financial advisors on the type of gift that is right for you.
